U.S. Department of Justice — ADA Information Line

The U.S. Department of Justice provides information about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including general ADA questions, technical assistance, publications and information about filing ADA complaints.

The ADA Information Line can provide general information and assistance concerning the ADA and related disability-rights questions.

U.S. Department of Transportation — Disability Hotline

Air Travelers With Disabilities

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Aviation Consumer Protection Division operates a disability hotline for air travelers who need information or assistance with disability-related issues.

The hotline can provide information about the rights of air travelers with disabilities and can assist with time-sensitive disability-related issues in real time.

Current hours are generally Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time, when the federal government is open.

If you believe your dog or another pet has swallowed or been exposed to something potentially poisonous, contact your veterinarian or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center immediately.

Disaster & Emergency Assistance

During a disaster, people traveling with service animals or pets may need additional assistance locating appropriate emergency shelter and animal resources.
