Mouse became my “emotional support” after a 26 years of marriage ended in divorce. My son diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, PTSD. My ex passed away after a lengthy lung illness. All these people were very special to me. I also lost my house to toxic mold and after my parents died we put all our belongings in a storage unit and it burned to the ground. Mouse brings joy and only stability that I have. AS long as I have her with me and I can hold and “talk” to her I feel calm and can continue on.
